JG is a 63year old male Allergies: Codeine Code Status: Full Code… JG is a 63 year old maleAllergies: CodeineCode Status: Full CodeMedical diagnosis/ chief complaint: Right Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA), tested positive for MRSA yesterday.Past Medical History:  MRSA (3 years ago), osteoarthritis, and mild hypertension.Past Surgical History: HammertoeFamily History: None provided  Medication:  Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg orally twice – high blood pressure medication  -diuretic                                                         Clindamycin 600mg piggyback infusion every 8 hours for 3 dose – AntibioticsIron 150mg orally twice – Sennoside/ docustate sodium 8,6 / 50 mg, 1 tablet orally twice daily – treat constipation Enoxaparin sodium 40 mg subcutaneously once daily – anticoagulant medication Oxycodone/ Acetaminophen 10/325 mg 1 tablet orally every 4 hours prn for pain  Impaired physical mobility related to Right Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) as evidenced by patient needing help to ambulate.Intervention:RN will consult with physiotherapistRN will encourage patient to perform range of motion exercise.RN will administer pain medication per provider’s order before ambulating.RN will demonstrate and assist patient with assistive/ ambulatory devices.RN will reposition patient every two (2) hours.Medication: Oxycodone/ Acetaminophen 10/ 325 mg 1 tablet orally every four (4) hours PRN for pain. At risk for fall related to impaired mobilityIntervention:RN will educate patient on fall precautions.RN will educate patient about the side effects of medication.RN will place bed in the lowest position.RN will ensure bed alarm is on.RN will ensure patient’s room free of clutter.RN will place patient’s belongings within reaching distant.RN will ensure call bell is within patient’s reach.Medication: Enoxaparin sodium 40 mg subcutaneously once daily (blood clot) Rubric: . Lines should be drawn to show all relationships among the nursing diagnoses.  I know that opiods medication cause weakness which links impaired physical mobility to fall risk but what nursing diagnosis can I link to physical mobility and fall risk, while taking medication into consideration as well.  Impaired skin integrity and impaired tissue prefusion I can’t seem to link and I am only allowed one at risk.
